THE OPPORTUNITY
BeyondHousing is on a mission to tackle homelessness in regional Victoria. Achieving this vision relies on their geographically dispersed leadership team shifting gear and thinking beyond day-to-day management and into the future. Enter Neu21, the ultimate wing-person for this kind of transformation.
Our Approach
Neu21 brought fresh thinking to a two-day leadership retreat for BeyondHousing. The offsite amped up the leaders’ self-awareness, operational and strategic skills, and equipped them to ride the wave of change heading their way.
Day 1 lit the fuse by exploring what leadership means in the 21st century and what it takes to be a leader who can adapt to anything. Participants got in touch with their own dominant leadership and communication styles, their strengths and weaknesses, and learned how to turn the dial up or down depending on the situation. They also busted down their own irrational and limiting beliefs, getting real about how these mental roadblocks could be sabotaging their potential. Vulnerability took centre stage as a powerful tool for bringing out the humanity in leadership.
Day 2 took things up a notch by focusing on the big picture: organisational vision, decision-making processes, and strategic direction.
