When Mid Sweden University was transitioning into an upgraded version of their web platform Osynlig was selected as design partner. Our responsibilities included digital strategy, user experience design, usability testing and front-end development.
The first phase of the project we focused on user journey mapping and a content strategy that would align with the overall brand strategy. We helped creating a new information structure and new page templates based on user/editor needs and wants. These templates were then user tested, implemented and adapted with the help of several reference groups. The design became a natural extension of the brand guidelines and our team worked closely together to create fast iterative clickable prototypes for user testing and client approval. The finished front-end was then delivered to our technology partner KnowIT who implemented the new front-end in the web platform.
In surveys conducted after releasing the new website, users experience a much easier navigation and overall more positive attitude towards the University. As a long term digital partner Osynlig is currently involved in several projects for Mid Sweden University including interactive touch tables for their service centers and campaign sites for their upcoming 10 year anniversary.
